Zedge™ Wallpapers & Ringtones for Android

ZedgeTM Wallpapers & Ringtones is a personalization app by Zedge that lets you browse, download, and set wallpapers, ringtones, and notification sounds on an Android device. It combines a large content library with built-in creation tools, so you can either pick ready-made items or produce your own.

The app covers static wallpapers in full HD and 4K, live wallpapers, dynamic wallpapers that change with local time, parallax backgrounds, and dual lock and home screen pairs. For audio, it offers ringtones, alarm sounds, notification alerts, and effects, with the option to assign tones to individual contacts. Its AI tools generate custom wallpapers from a written description, apply artistic filters to photos, and create audio clips from text prompts.

On the privacy side, the developer states that the app does not import or use personal information or files from your media library, storage, or contact list. That said, the app requests permissions for Contacts, Photos/Media/Files, Storage, Camera, and Wi-Fi connection information, so it is worth reviewing what each one enables before you install. The listing also notes that the app shows ads and offers in-app purchases, and it carries a Teen content rating.

This release, version 9.40.1, focuses on performance and stability, with improved audio playback, refined AI creation features, better search results, and fixes for duplicated items and account-related issues.

Fresh Updates · 9.40.1

Version 9.40.1 focuses on performance improvements and a smoother overall experience. Ad delivery and search results were enhanced, audio playback and landing pages improved, and AI creation features refined with better wallpaper support. Duplicated items were fixed, image aspect ratios improved, and account-related issues resolved. Minor bugs were addressed to increase app stability and reliability.

Anyone who wants to change how their Android phone looks and sounds without paying for separate wallpaper or ringtone apps. It suits users who prefer browsing curated collections, and also those who would rather describe an idea and let AI generate a wallpaper or sound. People who care about permission scope should read the list before installing.

Review the permission prompts during setup and grant only what you are comfortable with, since each one is tied to specific functions. You can save wallpapers and sounds to favorites to compare options before downloading. If storage space matters, check items one at a time rather than downloading several at once, and remember that the app's AI features and cross-device sync work best when you are signed in.

ZedgeTM Wallpapers & Ringtones packs a wide personalization library and AI creation tools into a single app for Android 9 and above. If the permissions and ads fit your comfort level, it is a practical way to keep your home screen and alerts fresh.
